Hi again Toni, The best time to go to Turkey is May or September and in theory, you shouldn't be encountering families at these times as the little darlings SHOULD be in school.

A friend of mine has just returned from a walking holiday, based in Kas. She went alone but became part of a group, it was a mix of couples and singles and had a fab time. She went in June and although it was hot she really enjoyed it, I see they have one advertised on the Carole and Tayfun website that a lot of people on here recommend for boat trips and excusions. There was also a painting holiday on there.
