I can't find a thread on here for Bangkok Air but im sure i will be corrected if wrong

Will be flying with Bangkok Airways from Bangkok to Phuket. Has anyone any experience of them?

Any info would be welcome, ive looked at their web site, all looks pretty much as i would expect.

Also could someone in the know tell me which of their three types of aircraft would operate this flight? ( please not the ATR please not the ATR please not the ATR please not the ATR ...............!)

It's not an airline that members have posted much about. There's plenty of reviews over on Airline Quality though. Assuming you're on the PG273 or PG277, flights are operated by the Airbus A320-200. The later PG279 is the smaller Airbus A319-100.

An excellent airline. If your transitting through Suvarnabhumi you can use their airport lounge with free internet, drinks and snacks and certainly more comfortable than the main airport. Flights down to Phuket tend to be on the airbuses. We got a snack (chicken in a bun) and the flight was cheaper than the low-cost AirAsia.
