Out of those i would probably choose the Don Pancho based on Location!
Taggy,Thank you for your prompt reply, the Don Pancho is the dearest so will have to see if we can afford it. There seems to be no "bargains" this year and I don't want to leave it too late. Thanks again
The Rio Park, of those you mention gets some decent reviews with a lot of repeat bookings but is a little further back from the front line. I think they have decent entertainment and food reviews. The Royal and Best Western Victoria, whilst being nice hotels, are more towards the old town, and i dont think have as much in the way of entertainment.
Other Hotels that you may wish to look at, which are fairly centrally located for the Levante area, would be The Riudor, Nereo, Helios, Calypso and Ambassador, i know the Ambassador and Riudor have decent evening entertainment, and as with all these hotels, if you prefer to go out in the evening, there is a vast array of Cabaret Bars literally on your doorstep. Same could be said of Hotel Presidente too.
Best Regards - Taggy
Nice to see you on here from the Majorca forum. iI would agree wih the recommendations from Taggy although I havent stayed in all of them.
My favourites are Castilla,Orange and Nereo.
I hope your mum is ok and that you will have a good holiday in Benidorm.
Regards Sue
Hi Sue, hope all well with you, I'm not booked as Mum not well yesterday I'm going now to see if she is any better today! Thanks for advice. CBG
Also Calabonagirl there are plenty of Mobility Scooters for hire in Beni if you feel she might need help getting around!
Thanks taggy hadn't thought about that. I am going to wait until the weekend to book or decide not to go. It's a responsibility taking "olds"away, & making sure the travel insurance will cover all the ailments!!!
hi calabonagirl i have stayed in don pancho and the hotel royal 2 times both fantastic hotels don pancho is very central rooms good food exelant and service first class as for the royal well i just love it (shame i am staying else were next june because of price ) its a top notch hotel with first class service from the reception right through to the food cant fault it location a wee bit out from the main nightlife but a nice walk 15mins to most things and only 5mins from the loverly old town no matter wich you book please give benidorm a try its good (o and by the way i love calabona/millor going back to majorca next may alcudia wich i also love )
