HI all
We are embarking on our first holiday as a couple for the first time in many years , reason been our daughter has turned 18 and no longer wants to be with the olds ....
Looking to visit Lanzarote in late Oct for a week possibly in Peurto del Carmen .We have done All inclusive for the last few years for obvious reasons and now we feel as we are having the first bit of us time for many years we would enjoy S/C or B and B this time round.
Our plan is to laze around the pool or on a beach daytime and on a night time wander out and have a bit of food and a few ales ( well prob quite a few )
Would appreciate advice on accommodation within PDC , which areas would suit us etc , would another resort be more suited to us ???
We are not looking for 5 star accommodation and restaurants and defiantly too old for nightclubs just good value ,clean and close to bars and restaurants
Many thanks in advance
Jim
have you looked at playa blanca? nice and laid back , good restaurants and a marina , no loud music etc, it might be too quiet for you ? i'm not sure if you know lanzarote well?
There is a small shop across the road and two spars within 5 minutes walk.
The apartments are spacious (particularly room 40) and well equipped and the beds are very comfy!
I have looked round a few other complexes on my frequent visits to the resort and never found one as nice in such a good location.
I book it direct through Ocean Club Holidays, not sure if I am allowed to put a link but you'll find it easily if you google it.
PDC is great , bars , night life .....beach nice & Coctail Bar at end of resort Hawian i think is Brill Freash Fruit in coctails , with top-up free that was left over . January from Leeds/BFD very cheap ! BaTCo enjoy .
There are plenty of good apt. complexes just across the road from the beach.
Although I wouldn't recommend PDC, I'd recommend Playa Blanca, it would suit you much better IMHO. There are many bargains to be had if you fancy a villa instead.
they have never been busy when I was there - beginning of July two years running, and I am amazed people think they are too far away - its literally minutes to the front and the hill is so easy. I live in Yorkshire which is hilly, maybe I'm just used to hills
