I am seriously considering the Golden Star apts,i am really fed up now with looking,it's now been over 4 weeks!
It is only a 1 bed but really not bothered,it's in a good location and the price is very good at the mo.I know from the reports i have read that it does get pretty busy around the pool with games,competitions etc,but i am sure we will enjoy ourselves nonetheless.

Just going to show the rest of the party what they are like and who knows may have it booked by tomorrow!

My friends have been going to the Sweet Memories for 20 years and have never mentioned cockroaches but that dosen't mean there aren't any. Good luck with the Golden Star apts, I hope you get fixed up

Just had an email back from a lady at the Flouressia apts,stumbled across them by accident,good price but they are in Pernera,apparently 10 minutes on foot to Protaras.Now i am in a dilemma,time to way up what exactly it is we want from our holiday,i think maybe Pernera may be a bit quiet for our 17 year old daughter.

Haven't you already booked your apt in Pernera or are you thinking of changing to Protaras? Did you pay a deposit?

Yes we filled in the booking form and tried to transfer the deposit with my bank,long story,any how someone has kindly checked out the location of the apts and they are a good 15 minutes walk into Pernera and then at least another 15-20 minutes into Protaras.I think they are a bit too far out of the centre for us o travell every evening especially in the heat.
So now i am having to look closer to Protaras,since we have never been to Cyprus before i think it best we are located somewhere more central.

Hi littleminx, just to answer your question about the Sweet Memories it is about 5 minutes walk to the start of the "strip" and about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the beaches.
I think that Pernera would be a bit quiet for your 17 year old daughter.
If you decide to book the Golden Star did you know that Customers of the Golden Star Beach Hotel can use the facilities of their sister property the Rising Star Beach Hotel at no extra charges.
