Calis beach is around 30/45 mins from dalaman it is a small resort not as pretty as icmeler but is friendly enough and is basically built around the long prom ideal for kids,fethiye is close as are olu deniz and hisaronu,however personally i would recommend dalyan it is a mere 25/30 mins from dalaman is small and friendly with loads of places to eat and drink,the beach is vast and easily reached by dolmus or boat,it is a charming place,we booked our hotel through travel republic at a reasonable price and were really happy with what we got(the metin) there are various s/c options available too,good luck

Icmeler Online now do holidays all over Turkey, not just Icmeler itself, so it might be worth contacting them to see what they can come up with.

We also needed a change from Icmeler and this year went to Dalyan and absolutely loved it! So much so that we are going back next year and only half an hour from the airport. Although no beach the tirp on the boat or Dolmus is great. Plenty to do of an evening as well and plenty of boat trips to go on as well. Cant wait flights booked today with Easy Jet £119 each in June for 10 nights only 8 moths to go

I agree with Sandyman, we went this year to Dalyan for the first week and Icmeler for the second. Dalyan is lovely, plenty of bars and restaurants we stayed about 10mns walk from the centre ,I would go back again but stay more central this time or a hotel by the river.

Would agree with other posters about Dalyan, its beautiful. Also worth looking at Akyaka, which is very unspoilt about an hour from the airport, and Turunc although that is a bit further on than Icmeler.
