They are both lovely apartments. I have sunbathed at both. Having stayed at some grotty apartments last year (Angelinas)- we spent the full 2 weeks at tondoris, and was even shown around their apartments by the owners (as we wanted to book for this July)- they really were lovely- with a massive swimming pool, and loads of sunbeds ( about 10 people at the very most were laid around the pool for the two weeks- and that was July)- we went up around 11/11.30 every morning- and had no prob with sunbeds. The planet bar there serves lovely breakfasts/baguettes, and had just installed a waffle machine the day we arrived- their waffles were to die for, even though we were not staying- as long as you eat and drink there throughout the day-you will be made very welcome.

Kanali apartments located just opposite angelinas apartments up a small muck road (Next to olgas apartments- which having stayed there too- and they were nothing special). I cannot comment on the rooms- but the pool area much more crowded, with a lack of sunbeds, its in a nice position though.

Both apartments are literally 2 mins walk away- from each other. - and in the better area of canal d@amour- which is more relaxed, with nicer restaurants, bars etc.... the main strip just 10 mins away- which is much more livlier, with numerous bars, and nightclubs

Out of the 2- Id pick tondoros- rooms spotless, pool spotless, owners lovely, food lovely- much more spacious-and more importantly more peaceful.

I was really close to booking Kanail because of the view and its got great reviews but I will take another look.

Anne- your right it does have a lovely view but the area where it overlooks the sea-(Around the pool) is always crowded- and has about 8 sunbeds overlooking the sea- you cant get one of these sunbeds unless your up at about 6¬. The restaurant also looks over the sea- the apartments however are set back- so I wouldnt have thought they would overlook the sea (I could be wrong).

The three best apartments- in my opinion are canal d'amour apartments, (Christos), tondoris, and Kanali- so which ever you decide to book you wont go far wrong- - the reason I loved the tondoris, was it was so peaceful during the day, and not overcrowded, - but as your going in May (It will prob be much quieter than when we went July).

Ps We tried booking for tondoris for this July- absolutely gutted- it was fully booked!- but we're staying at canal d'amour apartments, (Our second choice)

Wherever you decide to book- have a great time- and I can suggest some fabulous restaurants in that area- just give me a shout
