im staying at kervansaray hotel in may and just read a review and it says its next to the beach but on google maps its no where near the beach can anyone confirm this

Hi Debbie, I've just looked on google earth and the Kervansaray looks to be in the Armutalan area of Marmaris. A bus ride to the beach, but a nice area.
Every 5 minutes buses runs to marmaris front of the royal garden
journey by bus approx 10 minutes
by walk 20 minutes
journey by bus approx 10 minutes
by walk 20 minutes
Kervansaray Hotel is in Armutalan area at the very back,at the top of the hill,dolmuses run outside it to Marmaris centre and marina.
