I haven`t been to Calella since 2004 and expect a price difference, especially given the drop of Sterling against the Euro, when I go back there in June. Can some kind soul give me some idea how much a beer etc costs in the English bars, Turisme 35 etc so when I get there it will not be too much of a shock to the system.
Also I need to get to Barcelona Airport by 9 o`clock in the morning to catch my flight home so the train is out of the question. Any idea roughly how much a taxi from Calella will set me back.
you can get a pint in some spanish bars for €1, but in the british bars you are looking at around€3 -and €4.50 for spirits and a mixer.
its not as cheap as it was. no happy hours anymore and a lot quiter than 7 years ago.
taxi to barca is around €120.
why not try a transfer company like resorthoppa, a2b etc. that would be a lot cheaper.

Wow that is expensive considering I can get a taxi from where I live to Manchester Airport, which is approx. the same distance for 40 quid. I think I`ll have a look at the shuttles as you suggest
