I always use a nylon travel rucksack, one that weighs next to nothing. It fits lots of bits and pieces in and is suprisingly strong with mesh side pockets. Its not very glamourous, but easier just to put on your back other than carrying a bag.
I use it every day when I am at the resort carrying towels, sun creams etc....wouldnt be without it
We are a family of 4 so that means a whopping 176L and 40kgs of luggage, all onboard and for free!
Just google "biggest hand luggage" or similar. Backpack style means hands free operation. AND they cost less that putting a single bag in the hold for a single return trip. No brainer.
I have the 'smallest sub zero g 2' case, it's brilliant even has a padded pocket at the back for my laptop. Also have a Radley case on wheels which I love- can never decide which one to take!
I recently bought a bag in TK Maxx sale for a fiver, which is similar size to the bags in Primark
Its a shame when I looked on the bags website that its a baby changing bag.
Do you prefer the traditional flight bag, a small cabin case or a type of shopping bag - or indeed anything else? I have a biggish bag from Primark which I use, as it's big enough to keep all my bits & bobs for the flight, plus I can fit my handbag in there.
Helen my reply is almost exactly the same as you quoted.
We have just been to Benidorm and I bought a very large handbag from Primark (£9 reduced to £5)
It was very light and held my travel kettle; smaller handbag; book; spare glasses; sunglasses; magazine and snacks for on the plane.
Over the years I have tried all kinds of travel bag including buying one of the small suicases but found it difficult to pull it along as well as my suitcase. My Primark floppy bag is my best yet.
