Is this a bargain?
paying a total of £72.50 for rupees worth approx £71.25
So depend on exchange rate in 3 days time.
Most regulars always bring some home anyway.
On the way back this year I forgot to put my wallet ruppes and all in the box to go through the X ray machine and got patted down by the man with the wand.
I had to get the wallet out for inspection and as he saw the rupees I fully expected to get them confiscated.
Got waved through so maybe all the stories about taking rupees out of India do not stack up.
Or I was just lucky.
Papa
