Any other trips you would recommend

There's a nice local one day excursion which you can buy at many of the tour offices in town, going to Tlos - the ancient city - and to the Salikent Gorge. One of the nice bits about this day out is a lunch at Yakapark Trout farm, where there's a channel cut into the stone bar, through which swim trout.
So you can learn to tickle a trout as you drink an excellent dark Turkish beer, before sampling a wonderful trout lunch.
Only £13 including lunch but not drinks.

Kas is a little bit further on than Kalkan and very picturesque with beautiful old streets. From there you can take a boat trip to the sunken city and that is a spectacular trip. Alternatively you could take a boat trip to the Greek island of Meis.

Jeep safari is a fantastic, fun filled day out and you get to stop at Tlos, Yakapark and Saklikent Gorge (and the mudbath down the river!) during the journey. Your final destination will be Patara beach. It's a great route and amazing value for money. Take water pistols (super soakers) and/or lots of bottles of water (save ones you've bought to drink and fill with tap water) as there's a lot of soaking along the way!! Also take some sweets to throw to local children along the route who'll come out to greet you (or throw buckets of water at you!)

A separate trip to Saklikent Gorge is well worth it so you can spend some quality time there.

The sunset cruise is a lovely way to spend an evening. The boat sails from Fethiye and when it anchors, those who want to can have an evening swim. There's a shower and changing rooms on board. The meal sunset and moonlit (if you're lucky) disco is an enchanting experience.

The quad bike safari is worth doing as well. It takes a different and very scenic route through Kaya and on to the beach near St Nicholas Island, where you stop for a couple of hours.

Jeep safari is a right laugh, I've done it twice now through Candianda, mainly cos they also look after the villa, as has been said though, you WILL get wet, my mate had her mobile soaked and it never recovered, also, put money in a plastic bag as it takes ages to dry out. I'm off back in October for my 10th visit, going with Hisaronu virgins this time so it will be fun showing them round!
