Hi guys. Havent been to Cyprus in a while - been twice and the last time was 2009. We have stayed at The Melini Apts. many yers ago and in 2009 we had a real 'cheapie' staying at Sweet Memories. Loved Protaras during the day and Nicholas Tavern during the evening but other than that not a lot to entice me back to the centre of Protaras again and so this time we fancy going to the Penera area of Protaras. We did venture into Penera along the coastal path and liked what we saw. We can still get into the centre to eat at Nicholas Tavern a couple of times so no worries there. My dilema is, not knowing the Penera area too well, is where certain accommodation is located. We are currently looking to book the Louis Althea Kalomies Luxury Villas. As far as I can work out I think they are located at the far end of Penera being the furthest away from the centre of Protaras. Just wondering if any of you guys on the forum are familiar with these villas or whether anyone has stayed or known of anyone staying in them. Any views/information would be greatly appreciated before we actually proceed to book. I have tried to do the usual research of reviews on this forum and Trip Advisor but there doesnt seem to be any reviews written so far. I think from what I have read that maybe the villas were only opened last season but cannot be sure about that.
