I was at the jungle park that day, total washout, was bad in las americas too, but I think los christianos came off worse, especially the market, the poor market traders lost everything.
We'd just had a glorious week from the sunday before and woke up on that sunday ready to go home. The sky was bright red and the clouds very dark. Luckily we had an early flight and missed most of the rain!
