I would "highly recommend" you taking a look at the Iberostar Hotels in Playa Paraiso. There are 5 Hotels (all interlinked) over a stretch of beach. One is adults only "Grand" (so would be perfect for the Bride and Groom) others "Maya", Lindo (where we stay), Beach and Del Mar all accept families. All 4-5* All inclusive.

Truly superb resort, all set alon a beautiful beach, within the "village" of hotels there is a shopping complex and a proper church set in a courtyard with a band stand (which at night has all fairy lights around it). I have been to a lot of 5 star hotels throughout Mexico and the caribbean and i can honestly say that if I was to re-new my vows or had my time again, this would be the place to do it.

Take a good look at U-Tube!!! or the Iberostar website. We book though First Choice and allways book upgrade premium seats on flight for extra comfort (well worth it for a 10 hour flight)

Regards
All the best

nicnak001 - my neice got married in April 2010 at the El Dorado Seaside Suites in riviera maya. It was a wonderful occasion and she had everything she wanted. The hotel wedding arranger was excellent. She was married in a gazebo type building which looks out on the beach. there isn't a chapel at this hotel but this gazebo is a permanent feature and looks amazing when decoated and in the pictures. She was also lucky like you and there was 28 of us who went to see the wedding. The majority of the guests stayed at this hotel but its an adults only so some of us stayed elsewhere. We stayed at the Sandos Caracol which was lovely too. She had to buy day tickets for all the guests who were attending the wedding even if they were already staying at the hotel. Hope this information is of some help. Please ask any question and I will try and answer them for you.

Hi
We got married at Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar nearly 5 years ago (time does fly) and there are 3 choices of wedding venues. The beach, the gardens (which is where we chose) or the chapel. We hired the pool bar in the evening for a private party & then carried it on into the small disco. Absolutely brilliant time, nothing at all went wrong. I booked via First Choice but kept in touch with the hotel wedding co-ordinator by email before we went. We chose decoration, flowers, cake etc... once we had arrived.

We did plan on going back for our fifth anniversary with everyone that came with us (25 altogether) but what with one thing & another it didn't happen, although we are going to the Riu tequila in July.

If you have any questions at all, let me know.
