We've booked to stay at Socrates apartments on Malia/Stalis border yet again in October for 1 week. This will be our 5th visit to Socrates. We just love the place and can't wait to be going back. :cheers

Accommodation now has to be booked direct or through one of the online accommodation booking sites such as Booking.com as they have decided to split from Thomson for 2011 season.

I can second the Socrates. We loved it there. I didn't realise that you'd have to book it independently now although I thought I hadn't seen it advertised with Thomson lately.

Just returned from a villa in Douliana, in the West, probably our last big holiday, which is why we splashed out. It was a wonderful place for nature lovers like us, on the side of a wooded valley. So peaceful. :sun2
