hi all!!
we are going to icmeler for two weeks at the end of july, we are considering hiring a car for 7 days and were wondering if its ok to leave the car on the street or whether anyone knows of suitable parking...we are staying at the ekinci palace apts, by the old town.. any advice?

Your apartments are in the village area and there is plenty of off street parking in the area. have fun driving in Turkey as some of the drivers particularly in Marmaris are very scary

Make sure you read up on the rules,
eg Zero alcholol when driving with a passenger so don't have too many the night before of just the one at Lunch time.
Also if you have an accident no matter how small, do not move your vehicle until the Police arrive, if you move your vehicle because its blocking the road you will be charged with altering evidence at a crime scene.
