I'm looking to book a few days in Lloret De Mar at the beginning of September as I've found a cheap self catering deal. The transfers from Barcelona Airport are coming up at £28 pp for a return, is there any way of doing this any cheaper?
Are there any cheap supermarkets? Looking to do this holiday as cheap as possible so this would be a massive help.
Will it still be busy at the start of September? Is the nightlife any good?

cheapest way is to get the local train from the airport to blanes where you have to get on the local bus to lloret.
you do need to change trains at either sants or el clot station.
cost is around €7.50.
plenty of cheap supermarkets all through the resort.
the resort will be very busy as this is still peak season.
the reason most people go to lloret in the summer is for the nightlife
