Good idea to go back and get changed.
I always wear a long sleeved shirt when we dined out in Turkey so it won't bother me, could you please help me out with understanding the money, like what is 35 L.E and 15 L.E these are the prices on the Hotels Shuttle bus to Soho and Naama Bay
It's going to take me a while to get used to their currency lol where as in Turkey for me to work the money out was say something cost 5lira I would times by 4 which would give me a rough estimate of £2.00.
Also for future reference do you know of any airlines with reasonable cost flights only from Manchester, just got a mail back from Sultan Gardens quoting me just the Hotel price for 2 weeks and they would pick you up at Sharm Airport but you need to sort own flights.
I don't think easyjets £1450 all in for 2 at Tiran Island Hotel was too bad though do you ?
Thanks again everybody
The Exchange rate for the GEP over here at the moment is about 8.5 which equates to £1 Sterling making 15EGP just under £2 Sterling. 35EGP would equate to roughly just over £4 Sterling (there or there abouts) However, I would exchange your Sterling when you get over there as you will receive approximately 10% more than over here. To make it easy I always work it out at 10EGP = £1 Sterling.
Regards,
Pat
10 LE = £1
20 LE = £2
50 LE = £5
100 LE = £10
35 LE = £3.50
The money is always better to change in resort, we take £50 sterling and that lasts several days if you are all inclusive. Normally we get around 9LE or 10 LE but we always estimate that its 10LE to the £1 sterling.
Not sure about flights, will have to look. What about Monarch? Have no idea if they go to sharm or not.
First Choice - 27th Sept £467.98
Thomas Cook - 29th Sept £344
Not sure how that compares with EasyJet??
Regards,
Pat
Yeah we don't take travellers cheques or change money here, we just take stirling so no probs there
Pat the Thomas Cook seems a good price, the Sultan gardens emailed me and wanted £910 for 2 weeks all inclusive and pick us up at the airport this would work out a few hundred cheaper than a tour company.
Handy to know as we always did DIY to Turkey and saved a few bob, well more to spend in resort
Thank you to you both for the help.....I'm buzzing here about going now x
