hi keith, thinking of booking the girasol ourselves next month, been to candolim last 2years. this is a new hotel at the back of the stonehouse restaurant, at the quiet end of candolim, dont know much about it but it looks very nice and relaxing on the photos. if we dont end up there well probably settle for phoenix park hotel abit further into the centre of candolim. good luck and hope you have a good holiday wherever you stay, ian, manchester.

Heard so many different opinions regarding the Girasol, some good some bad so we decided not to take any chances. Luckily enough around about the time we were looking to book Qatar had a flight sale.We got a cracking deal with great flight times so we decided to do our hols DIY this year. We've been to Goa for the past 10 yrs (sad I know) so we had a good idea of where we wanted to stay and we've booked 2 weeks at Rising Waves Candolim & a week at Casa De Chris Cavelossim (South Goa). The Girasol seems to be a new place and we will probably try to have a look at it when we are in Candolim this Feb....cheers Keith
