Hi, Could any one help. In 2001 we flew Gatwick to Florida but had to stop on way to refuel in Newfoundland. The airline has long since gone and I was wondering if any airlines still do this either from Gatwick or Manchester as it would be nice to see the place again. cc

The days of en route stops at Gander and Bangor have, thankfully, long gone.
Westjet or Air Canada will operate into Gander but you will have to check with both airlines on where it is best to connect after arriving in Canada on a transatlantic flight from UK. Interestingly maybe the Air Canada flight (seasonal) into St John's from Heathrow could be a good starting point. (Using it myself in May on return leg from Canada to UK)

Hi all, Thanks for the help maybe a return to Gander is out of the question, will have a look at Westjet or Air Canada and see what they come up with. Maybe we can get a transfer to Florida from Gander with a American internal flight. Thanks again cc
