But very clever - I've just checked the 6 assorted bags etc that we have used as cabin baggage in the past year- only one of them (an old camera bag) would qualify as "free" - even my laptop case is too big, as are recently purchased rucksacks for Thomas Cook/Easyjet flights.
I suspect that virtually all of the luggage currently being sold on the high street as "cabin luggage" is too big for free hand luggage with WizzAir! so rather than achieving their "faster boarding" aim it will just improve their cash flow.
AFAIA NOBODY ELSE charges for hand luggage as such; if its oversize it gets charged as hold luggage and gets put in the hold.
So as I said in my first post - how long before Ryanair start to subdivide hand luggage into size categories??
