For those of you travelling DIY, I'd thoroughly recommend these people http://maltatransfer.com/. They have a stand at Malta airport and are super efficient at transferring you to your resort for a nominal price. You can buy a single ticket or return, and you are picked up from outside your hotel for your return journey.
