I think your mam should be fine with her bottled water as it says:- Unlimited local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Wine and beer with meals.

Strangely, bottled water is usually excluded from AI drinks even though you can have as many alcoholic and soft drinks as you want. That said, it is usually whole bottles that are excluded, but you can get it by the glass.

At every AI (not been to Be Live Lanzarote Resort) it has always been small bottles of water that has been included as part of the package.

Just come back from Be Live Lanzarote Resort and yes they supply small bottles of water as part of AI. There are no restrictions the barstaff will give you as many as you need. I think it is only from the main bar which opens about 6pm. Outside you need to use the water coolers which are in the food area.

All the rooms have been refurbished as part of a complete refurbishment project. Everywhere is modern, clean and tidy. Our room was excellent which included double sinks and a walk in shower which was very powerful. The only small criticism was that there were no mirrors in the main bedroom, they were just in the bathroom/ wardrobe area. They should have put one above the dressing table in the bedroom.
