The 2012 figures of passenger through put has been released and I know some of you have been interested in this in the past:

Atlanta still leads the way with 95.5 Million people passing through during 2012. It is Bejing that rises to number 2 in the world with 81.9 Million. Heathrow is still very respectable in third place with 70 Million.

In Europe - Paris comes in at number 7 at 61.6M, Frankfurt with 57.5M at number 11 and Amsterdam is 16th with 51M.

Chicago is there at number 5, LA at number 6 while New york JFK only makes number 17th with 49.2M.

Munich is still in top 30 at number 30 with 38.8 M Gatwick is respectable as well for a single operated runway at number 36 with 34.2 M.
