hi guys thinking of going to hurghada in june looking for a nice hotel that's disabled friendly that has a pool with a ramp or steps not the ladder type and rooms with a shower rather than a bath and must be central as I will be in a wheelchair so everything nearby is a must are there bars and shops around the hotels and is it easy for wheelchair users many thanks

Although not in Hurghada itself, I'd recommend that you take a look at the Sunrise Royal Makadi Bay Hotel. It is very much wheelchair friendly, infact during my 2 trips there I have seen several guests in wheelchairs. Ground floor rooms have showers and have access into the rooms via ramps as does the main pool. It has been about 6 years since my last trip, but from what I recall the majority (if not all) of the many a la cartes restaurants have easy access for wheelchair users, and all of the hotel is pretty much on the flat (no hills)
