Tikida Palmeraie in Marrakesh.
As usual, the hotel was great and I have submitted a review.
This time, we decided to do some trips that we hadn't done before - as well as my usual camel rides!
We went to Essouira. . On the coast...this was a long trip and, unfortunately the guide was not the most informative being more concerned about the number of golf courses in Marrakesh than anything else and even before we arrived making sure we knew which restaurant we were supposed to use for lunch - even though this was not included in the price! Glad we did the trip as it was our first time to the coast of Morocco, but would not do it again.
Our next trip was to the Majorelle gardens. Whilst I can see the attraction of this garden, I found it to be quite claustrophobic, especially when you first enter with all the bamboo. Maybe I would go again but try to go when it is quieter and give it another chance.
I won't bore you with the camel trips! Sufficient to say the new 'camel riding pants' were a boon!

Our final trip was to the High Atlas Mountains. This was the best trip of all! We were fortunate in that there were only 4 of us in one jeep together with the guide and driver. Our guide was fun, informative and extremely helpful. The other couple had not been to an Argan Oil co- operative and wanted too, so Hassan arranged one as an extra to our trip! He did ask first if we would mind as we had already been on previous visits.
All in all, we had a great holiday but I think the amount of champagne I drank may have helped!
