Have looked on the airline thread but it's locked. Booking from LHR to MIA and have a choice between AA or BA. Which would be better, in your opinion? Will only be travelling economy class.

Thanks Dazbo. I do have a choice between the two for the same day, so I'll stick with BA then.

Another thing to bear in mind , is that flight BA0207 , is on a 747 and BA0209 is on a A380 , if travelling in economy then the 380 might be more attractive with the upper deck having 2-4-2 seating , not many airlines give over the upper deck to economy seating .
Also bear in mind that seat charges will apply if you wish to select your seat unless you have status , if you're thinking of plumping for WTP ( premium economy ) this is the new style seating (2010 version ) and very well rated , the older style WTP seating ( 2000 version ) not so much .
Also to add these BA flights depart from T3 rather than T5

I would check on the flight you want to see if its BA or AA operated. They operate many code share flights so the flight you want might be operated by a different airline, eg book BA but its operated by AA. Personally, I'd prefer BA for their service over AA, but that's just me.
