Wizz Air is to allow customers to book a flight without having to name all travel companions at the initial booking stage.
Its Flexible Travel Partner service is designed for customers who want to book their trip securing low cost fares well in advance, yet are uncertain who their travel partners will be.
For a fee of €10 per passenger per flight, customers will only need to provide the name of one passenger, but can book a ticket for up to nine further passengers without including their name at the time of booking.
Other names can be added at any point by accessing the online booking before online check-in is required.
Today's announcement follows the recent introduction of Wizz Air's Fare Lock product, which allows customers to hold a selected fare for a period of 48 hours.
George Michalopoulos, chief commercial officer, said: "Flexibility is becoming increasingly important when planning both business and leisure trips.
"We continue to monitor consumer preferences and build products catered to their every need."
