I've been clearing files off my computer , how do I manage to accumulate so much stuff?
I came across this video that I made whilst waiting for my flight and looking through the dirty glass windows of Malaga airport.
It's not a great video, I'm all over the place with it, but watching it reminded me of how many airlines are not longer in business today, have been merged or are going through bankruptcy.
I must have filmed this in 2012 because there's a BmiBaby flight included and I was on one of the last flights back to EMA from Malaga.
So, in the last 5 years from this video, I've counted.
Monarch
BmiBaby
Spanair
Sterling
Air Berlin
Alitalia
Sanji x
and I wonder which one will be next?
I remember this video Sanji 👍
Lufthansa and easyJet have submitted offers to buy parts of Alitalia.
Alitalia said it had received seven offers by the deadline yesterday and would now be assessing them.
The airline went into administration in May last year. The November 4 deadline for a final decision on its future has been postponed until April 2018.
Lufthansa said it hoped to establish a 'new Alitalia', but was only interested in parts of the existing business.
EasyJet said it also only wants certain assets and added: "There is no certainty at this stage that any transaction will proceed and easyJet will provide a further update in due course if and when appropriate."
Both airlines are also bidding for parts of bankrupt Air Berlin.
