As sad as it sounds, I've never ever been abroad and I'm 42 years old.
The last 18 months have been tough with my Dad dying of cancer and I lost my Mum this year, so my partner and I need a break somewhere relaxing.
We'd like to go for 7 nights, somewhere warm, beachfront and preferably nowhere too family-friendly.
We have a budget of £3,000 maximum.
I like the look of Cancun, but someone told me it's a place to go to party, so rules that out.
Any suggestions?

I suggest you check out Cyprus. Aiya napa to be exact.
They've got nice beaches and cost is around your budget . You can totally have quiet time in there.
There are many deals online at the moment making it cheaper to go places.
However, I suggest you book flexible flights, hotels and even airport transfers to be safe.
Cheers!
