The hotel and rooms are spotless, the food is first class with a massive choice. the hotel is situated 800 yards from the beach with access to the beach through the opposite Rui Yucatan hotel grounds which is a 10 minute stroll (slow) or there is a motorised buggy service for those who prefer to be driven down to and from the beach.
The beach is white and spotless with water sports catered for but watch out for the jet ski's which are allowed to come very close (about 100 feet)to the waters edge, with some "drivers" not even looking out for other water craft.
With the choice to eat and use any of the facilities of the neighbouring Rui hotels except the Rui Palace the Rui Tequilla is excellent value for money. Security is great with guards on the beach, hotel and resort complex and a visit into town costs about $4US. With police everywhere on the streets and private security in the mall you will be safer than anywhere in Britain unless you are Tony Blair or the Queen.
Check out this hotel and you will not be disappointed but do remember to leave a tip for the hotel staff who all work extremely hard for less than $5US a day. None of the staff never once asked for any tips yet everyone speaks to you when they see you and bend over backwards to help in anyway they can.
If you do go check out the bar near to the reception where Heidi and Daniel both make cracking milk shakes and any cocktail that you can think off and always with a smile.
We enjoyed our stay and so will you, Trust me.
