Hanioti will make up for any short comings "Mr Sarantis" might have. The Greeks are proud people and if you are respectful, you'll have no problems. Sadly a lot ,and I mean a lot of hotel/apartment owners in Hanioti have dropped any association with British Tour companies this year. This is reflected in the reduced number of flights available to Thessaloniki this year. Most are not starting until late May or early June, unless you go from London. All the regional filghts have been cut back. So enjoy. I am envious that you are off to Hanioti. Wish it were me!

thanks for taking the time to reply, your comments are very helpful.I am very lucky as I actually won the holiday in a radio competition, wanted to go to halkidiki a few years ago, but my other half persuaded me to choose croatia instead, which was nice, so I guess fate is sending us there:)
