ASTIR BEACH HOTEL - LAGANAS, ZANTE & WATERPARK??

My new husband & I are off to Laganas, zante on Sunday

!!
Could anyone let us know what our hotel is like - Astir Beach hotel next to Astir Palace.
Also is there a waterpark in or around Laganas - if so , whats it like.

I don't know what it's like inside but it's about a 15 - 20 minute stroll on the beach to the roundabout.(Thats at the end of Bar Street, and right on the beach).
There are plenty of Tavernas along the beach, then up to the Kalamaki Road, turn right and out as far as the Zante Park Hotel, turn right and you're back.

It's a good location, well away from the noise and plenty of life in the area.

You will love it.
