Hi everyone just stumbled upon this site its taken me ages to login.Anyway can anyone tell me if Zante is expensive now they have Euro and not drachma.The last time we went was 2001 and we were hoping to go back next year to Argassi all information greatful, its not that we are tight its the 8 year old son of ours just can`t take no for an answer and costs us a fortune.
glad you found us ! cannot be specific about zante, but we have found every where we have been pre euro now appears slighltly more expensive but not to the point where you go without, after all it is your well earned holiday

Yes, prices are noticeably higher but it is pretty much the same wherever you go now.The days of cheap holidays are gradually disappearing due to the EEC but in general most of Greece is still good value
