We went on two trips - One from Ibiza Town to Formentera which is a nice relaxing day - cost 42 euros through hotel but you can make your own way for around 15 euros return.

Also went on the castaway cruise down the west coast - from San Antonio - drinks and food included - cost 45 euros.

Its worth trying to get out and visit places but I didn't fancy hiring a car on this holiday! Buses are cheap enough.

If you go into San Antonio there a bus station and buses go from there to quite a few places, theres a topic about it some where if you go onto the search facility at the top of this page it should bring it up.
Ibiza town a good starting point from there you could take a water taxi up the coast to Es cana calling in at Cala longa and Santa Eulalia, again theres info on here somewhere about the water taxis.

Water park in Playa de Bossa would make a good day out.

I think I read somewhere that a disco bus runs in the summer.

Try Ibiza spotlight loads of info on there.

p.s http://www.ibzabus.com is the bus times.

Your operator/Hotel will probably run many excursions.

Ibiza Town is well worth a visit or even 2 visits, one in the day and another at night! Climb the old town in the day, the Cathedral at the top is worth a look in or just walk round the walls, take some binoculars the views are great. At night walk down around the harbour, see all the 'beautiful' people parading their stuff. When it gets later then the screaming queens come out for a strut.

They sometimes do an island tour where you go to many places for a short visit. You may spot a place you wish to return to.

The Cova San marco can be nice. Not on the scale of the Caves of Drach on Majorca but pleasant enough. They are close by Puerto San Miguel.

We did Formentera last time we were over and it was a disappointment. We had done the island 15 years earlier and the contrast was depressing. To be honest there was nothing there that you couldn't get on Ibiza.

If you like quiet then try to get to Cala San Vincente or Cala d'hort.

Hope you have a good time.
