From a personal point of view I would recommend San Stefanos NW. There are enough tavernas to keep you going for the whole of your holiday, a lovely beach with paragliding, pedaloes etc. and nice walks. No lager louts in site and the village is geared up for couples and families. In the years we have been going we ahve never encountered any problems or trouble in the village. Also if you want more nightlife Sidari is not to far by taxi.

I look on San Stefanos as a place that can offer the best of both worlds. There are also lots of web sites geared up for Corfu so I would reccomend you also look at some of them befre finally deciding where you want to stay.

It is called St georges south

plenty of bars, tavernas, shops etc. even a club or 2. it can be as lively or as restful as you want it to be.

there is a lovely beach and being on the west coast of the island it is more breezy than on the east coast.
