Dear All, im in urgent need of advise, am lookinng at buying property in Spain, something small and cheap, but need a good lawyer/solicitor to check everything. can anyone recommend one?

You need a good local lawyer, so you'll need to tell us where you're thinking of buying before anyone can recommend a lawyer in that area.

hello bawbee, well, at the moment its looking like spain or turkey, havent looked into lanzaroti. do you know of any good lawyers?

I do, but you don't need a lawyer until you've identified the property you want to buy. I'll be glad to recommend one when you're ready.

we are looking at sands beach in lanzarote do you have any advise as to weather you think it isa good area to buy as we aregetting mixed reports ie. some say the complex rooms they stayed in were poor but we were showed only nice ones

I'm afraid I don't know anything about this complex other than that they've been advertising units for sale on it for years. As the last poster indicates, I'd be very careful.
