Chevron do the Mavina as far as i know.
Sooze29 - just in case you've never heard of Chevron before, they're an independent company who only deal with Malta. I don't think you can get their brochure from a travel agent as they only deal direct with the customer. We've never used anyone else for Malta - can highly recommend them and their rates are very competitive.

If I were you I would stick with the Mavina if you liked it there, it looks very nice, from the other three you mentioned I would say san Anton is about the best
Where do you usually stay?
We've always stayed in St Pauls Bay - the other side of Bugibba from Qawra. We like the location and have made a few friends in the area. It's easy to travel round the island from there by bus, and it's a great place to get day trips to Comino from. Hubby always says he feels like he's coming home as soon as he gets there! Oh, and we've always stayed at the Gilleru, mainly because it has fab sea views. We'll be back there next week and can't wait
Is the Gilleru self catering and which tour operator do you use?
If you are after Selfcatering, have a look at the Bugibba Holiday Complex too. All of the self catering apartments have just been refurbished.
Sooze - no, the Gilleru is run as a hotel so no self-catering I'm afraid.
I can also highly recommend Chevron Holidays. We had a major incident at our hotel in Qawra last year, which was nothing to do with any tour operator. It was potentially very serious. The rep dealt with it and us, put us in a temp hotel for the night and moved us to a suitable place the following day and when we got back we recieved compensation from them within a week. Excellent service.
We are also going to the Gillieru next week. We have been there a number of times and must say the quality is slowly going down but the location makes up for it. Didn't go last year so hoping that it is still OK.
yeah would have to agree, probably San Anton and Buggiba Holiday Complex are your two best bets for self catering

2 weeks self catering, really clean, towels changed twice weekly, bed linen changed weekly. Rooftop and indoor pools and small balcony. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
