can someone please tell me about salou the best bits and the worst going next month staying in the calypso hotel for 1 week i cant wait. i have read lots of reviews but i would love you to tell me some more info as im a salou virgin!!

just anything.what the hotel is like what the nightlife is like are there any good boat trips just anything at all. thanks lou loux

I have not stayed in this Hotel but there are reviews about it on this site. There is lots of entertainment in Salou, it just depends what you want, Most of the restaurant/ bars close about 1am, some clubs kick out at about 4am and others go on through until morning so i am sure you will find a few that you like
just ask the reps to point you in the right direction. The reps do boat trips usually on a big catermaran.
Port Aventura is a good day out, its well worth a visit if you like fairgrounds, there is also Costa Caribe waterpark onsite too, its easy to get to, buses take you right up to the gates.
There is another waterpark in La Pineda, this one also has dolphins and sealion shows, also in La Pineda is the Pacha nightclub. It is not far from Salou, you can get a bus or taxi.
You can go to Barcelona for the day for 17.50 euros return (it was this price in may) the coach picks up in Salou.
There is a few markets you can visit if that is your thing, if not Salou has plenty of shops to get your pressies for home.
