Its quieter and the odd place may be closed, but the season doesn't end until 31st October and tour operators are still sending tourists until then.

I've been 5 times in October and its never been dead, nightclubs are closed but shops, bars, hotels and restaurants are all still open for business.

Many of the nightclub have closed down by that time (although Pacha will still be open on Fri and Sat nights), however most of the bars and resturants will most definetly be open and it will still be busy as October is a popular month to go because the weather is still nice but a little cooler.

If you are travelling to San An, you may find is quiet however the rest of the island should be busy.

I've been several times to Ibiza in October. You'll be fine. Plenty still going off. Weather usually sunny and definitely warm and plenty of places still open. I'm off to Ibiza next week but only because my partner is pregnant otherwise we would have gone in October.

hi, just got back from playa den bossa & found it very quiet, most bars & restaurants nearly empty!.lady who runs the oasis cafe said trade was 65% down this year mainly due to hotels dropping tour operators & going to internet bookings only. but all in all we had a good time,would recommend the san an sunset cruise,enjoy yer hols
