We got the star and the sun when we were in G/Sin July.My husband drank zagorka and amstel when we were there ,you can get lots of diffrent types of beer .It cost 3leva for a large beer when we were there and 3leva for vodka and coke both were large hope this is of some use to you June 
Forgot to say papers are usualy a day old by the time you get them Kev ,but like you we liked to find out the news from home .Also if you are going to phone home it is best to buy the blue phone cards as they give you the longest time for your momey they usualy cost 7leva and that gives you two long phone calls June
