I haven't stayed there myself, but my sister and brother-in-law where there in June, and as we where in Lindos we went to visit them.

It is not quite in Pefkos but Lardos,( my sister used to get a taxi into Pefkos for about 3 euros), It is a very smart hotel, very spacious and clean and looks really lovely, we where impressed with it.

A couple of things to point out though, they charge you for the fridge, sun beds round the pool, which I found most unusual and also on the beach which is expected. Beware of the umbrellas though, because they are not very high and they hurt like mad if you forget.

My sister was only bed and breakfast but was not really impressed with breakfast so went into Pefkos and ate there.

She said the people were really friendly and the entertainment was quite good, and she would probarly return if she wanted a quiet week away somewhere.

Thanks for that posting, reassured me a lot. The review I read of the place criticised everything about the hotel so I was starting to worry, but suppose some people just like to moan! I can start to look forward to the holiday now!

We are staying here in 3 weeks, so far not read any bad reviews about it, apart from the charging for sunbeds.
Not sure I'd want to know what the bad points were now as its already booked My main worry is if its too quiet in the area.

We had a brilliant time on holiday there a couple of weeks ago. The hotel was lovely and the staff really friendly and helpful. There wasn't much in entertainment at the actual hotel in the evenings and the hotel is quite a way out of Pefkos, about a 20min walk (or 5euros in a taxi!) but there are a few nice bars in Pefkos, and Lindos is only about 7euros in a taxi if you wanted a bit more of a livelier scene.

its nice to know that the hotel has good reviews, as we booked it without researching it.
20 mins is not so bad to walk to pefkos, and taxi sounds quite cheap.

Just for future reference regarding this hotel.

I stayed here a few years ago and then booked it up for some of our family this year in May'05 for our Wedding. The place for me is excellent, the staff are really friendly and I find the rooms reasonable and have a nice view out to the water if you get a sea-view room.

They have a nice terrace looking onto the sea and also another snack bar just up from the pool that provides food and drink during the day.

Obviously the only thing is that it's just a bit out of Pekfos so it's obviously a 10-15 minute walk, but always a pleasant walk.

I was told the food was okay, as I had booked my family up on HB basis, so they where happy with that, however it's always a short jaunt out to the many eateries in Lindos.

As has been said down-sides could be that it's a small jaunt to Pefkos, although there are a couple of shops and restaurant just a 5 minute walk (in the direction of Pefkos). Also as with any other hotel I've stayed in, you'd need to pay for a fridge and also the loungers which may annoy some folk, but not a big deal tbh.

Good points are it's remote location, it's quiet, very good for couples wanting to get out the way, there's a nice beach on either side of the hotel, although you only get access to the south side which runs next to another hotel, however you can go for a nice stroll along it. Staff are excellent also. Rooms are also well maintained IMO.

Have to admit, if I went back to Rhodes I would have no hesitation in staying here again. My favourite times where playing pool on the terrace at night with a nice cold beer..................excellent.
