We went to Pefkahori many years ago and walked the beach road to Hanioti and found it to be a lovely place but this was in the 80's a fairly long journey from the airport but if things are reasonably the saame think it should be ok for your age group.

Just returned last week from Hanioti. Had a walk into the Lesse.
B-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l !!!! The grounds and pool area are lovely. They are set off the main road, many apartments are sea facing. 5 mins walk to beach, clear water, water sports, beach bars etc. 10-15 min walk to main square in Hanioti where everything centres around. 20 minute walk along beach road will also take you to Pefkohori, which has a different character from Hanioti as most restaurants and bars are located along the beach promenade. Although the pool was quiet, everyone I spoke to said the accomodation was great. It carries 4 star rating. I would definatly book the Lesse.

KT,

I went to Hanioti earlier this year with my girlfriend (I'm 30 shes 24) and we passed The Lesse in a taxi on the way to Pefkohori. As Jade states the pool area and grounds looked lovely. The only reservation I would have about booking this accomodation is that it is a bit too far out of the resort for my liking. I prefer to be a bit closer to everything. Its set off the main road that runs all along the coast and there isn't really anything around it.

As for Hanioti its a really nice place certainly nothing like Magaluf, Laganas and other 18-30 style resorts. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. We particularly liked Anatol (Italian), Prime (good traditional greek dishes) and The Garden for food and Sunshine Bar, Kelfos and Long Island for drinks. Even though the resort tended to have plenty of people buzzing about we found the bars and pubs to be quite relaxed and not as lively as we had hoped. This may be different in August - we went in June. We only saw one nightclub situated on the edge of the resort but didn't bother going in so I can't comment on this.

There is a large choice of excursions - we only went on one to Petrolona Caves which was okay but not as good as we expected - and there are plenty of wartersports on the beach (be aware the beach is shingle and not soft sand as it appears in the brochures) so you should have enough stuff to keep you busy during the day. Taxis to Pefkohori and Polychrono are only 5 euros if you fancy a change of scenery.

Hope this has been helpful!
