Why not hire a car, especially as you are staying in a villa? The island is really easy to navigate and you can find some fantastic beaches if you go a little off the track. You can also benefit from shopping in places the locals go and not pay inflated tourist prices!!

Thanks for that, however I do not like driving abroad, also if you fancy a beer or glass of wine whilst you are out then you cannot if you are driving.

Better to be safe than sorry.

It is easy enough to get taxi outside airport just turn left as leaving. We did this year it is only 15 euro to calan porter and takes 10-15 min. Only 5 per taxi so if more of you need two.
