Just thought I would post this link to some fab holiday cottages in Cornwall.
We live in Cornwall so havent stayed here ourselves but some of the family booked a cottage here for the half term - I was so impressed with the site I thought it was worth a mention on here
Its very central for visiting The Eden Project - The Lost Gardens of Helligan and of course the fabulous beaches- especially the "Cornish Rivierra" South coast.
The site is only just outside of St Austell but is beautifully rural and secluded.
There is a lovely childrens playground - feed the animals mornings - outdoor swim pool - ponies - games room etc
The cottages are all different and the one my family stayed in was very comfortable warm and well furnished .
I was well impressed and would thoroughly recommend it especially if you have children and dont like anything over commercialised.
I probably sound like an advert but honestly they are nothing to do with me whatso ever.

http://www.poltarrow.co.uk which is just up the road from bosinver. very similar with swimming pool, games room , lake for rowing and farm.

yes that was on my shortlist for next year but in the end we booked lyn
http://www.premiercottages.co.uk - many of theres have swimming pool games room etc and are great if you want a peaceful rural location but enough space and things to keep the children happy. they are not an agency but a brochure put together by selective cottage owners - you book direct with the cottage owners -

Hi Lynwestie - How did you get on this year at Trethingy?
however we never like to go to the same place twice - been there, done that as they say but wanted to find somewhere similar to stay (swimming pool, games room etc further down into cornwall. but after trailing every cottage website and brochure for cornwall (even booking a year in advance) i had to admit defeat and accept that further down we wernt going to find this sort of property. so I short listed a few that were in the St Austell area and we went for poltarrow
