Hi all
Myself and a couple of friends are thinking of heading out to Gozo for 10 days over the news years eve period. Can anyone tell us if the diving is still good and recommend a good (the best) dive centre to dive with.
Is Gozo a good place to spend New Years Eve?
We're all experienced divers if that helps.
Many thanks
Paul
Can anyone recommend a good cheapish place to stay that is close by the dive centres. Anywhere does good decent diving/accom packages?
I can't give you all the websites as I'm in the UK rather than at home in Gozo, but if you search this forum for diving AND gozo, I've posted answers to similar questions in the last few months - let me know if any follow-ups - alot of dive centres will be closed, but I know St Andrews in Xlendi is open all year.
As for NY in particular, water will be 18-20C, visibility should be very good, unless its stormy or been raining alot, which leads to alot of soil being washed into the water. Gozo at NY is quiet, but plenty of restaurants and bars open - NY eve is more lively, as you would expect
