as everybody i over spent at xmas.looking for a family of 3 for 14 nights start of aug this year to a family hotel with kids club.in family resort.do not want to pay high st price's if possible.any advice please

Have you tried eclipse they have quite a few properties in Menorca. Went to an apartment there with them a couple of years ago and found them very resonable, they do hotels as well. Being direct sell they might be a bit cheaper than the high street. Good Luck. 
try booking flights seperately and then accommodation and a transfer. http://www.flymonarch.com fly from birmingham to menorca. used them for my holiday in june. accommodation companies to try are somewhere2stay.com,med hotels,go2spain.co.uk(thats who i have used). I have been to cala n bosch, and we are returning this year in june. fantastic resort for kiddies, and enough restaurants and bars around the marina. We dont usually go to the same place twice, but we loved calan bosch.
