Which airport for Costa Brava?

Is it Barcelona? I went to Lloret De Mar as a teenager (many years ago in the late 70's) and quite fancy revisiting. The last time I went we travelled overland with a company called Travelscene. Not even sure if they are still trading.

Barcelona airport is at the south west end of the costa brava but Gerona is nearer to Lloret.
There are fewer airlines flying to Gerona though Ryanair do. Easyjet are amongst the list flying to Barcelona.
I estimate the distance to be around 30 Km and I see that Shuttle Direct quote around 46Euros one way
