hi im going to Goa in April, although it wont be my first time i would like to know what are the recomended trips. The only trips we've been on is the Old Goa trip and the crocodile trip. The croc trip was a nightmare, i got sunstroke so was ill for a few days. We tend to use taxidrivers and for the boat trip we used a local man who had a boat. Im quite keen to go on that waterfall trip, but i will be going with my 2 year old son so would that be ok ?
we also found a taxi driver to take us to a quiet beach, something beginning with the letter 'M', but its in the North and really quiet. Would like to do that again. I think the taxi driver charged us 700 rupees for the whole day which was very reasonable.
Thanks
Was it Morjim ?
feelthevide - i think it was called mandorim beach. we had to cross a bridge to get to it but it was well worth it.
You need to cross the bridge ove the Chapora for both (unless you are brave enough for the ferry if it stills runs).
Morjim is at the Southern end of that run of land and Mandorim a little further North but not a lot.
If it had a big river at the Southern end it'll be Morjim, there are also turtles there so if there was a river and turtles then its Morjim, otherwise Mandorim, which is closer to Arambol.
The Waterfall trip was good it's about 2 hours drive to get there so might be a bit much with a little one.
